Why does the app ask for microphone access?

SpeakToMe needs microphone access so it can capture a short spoken answer, convert it to text, and score the attempt against the accepted response list.

Does SpeakToMe require a child account?

No. The current codebase does not require a separate child sign-in or profile account to use the practice loop.

How are subscriptions managed?

SpeakToMe uses RevenueCat to present subscription options, validate purchases, and restore access to paid features through Apple App Store or Google Play.

How do I reset local app data?

Remove the app or clear its local storage on the device. This clears locally stored settings, recent attempts, and unlock progress kept on that device.

Why might locking behave differently on different devices?

Device-lock behaviour depends on platform rules. Android may support stronger control in dedicated-device setups. iPhone and iPad rely on Guided Access or managed-device controls.
